Transmission:

Spread via sexual fluids and saliva through oral, anal and vaginal sex, mutual masturbation, mother to child (rare)

Symptoms:
|
Usually appear in women within 5-28 days of exposure but can take as long as 6 months
Women get a frothy, yellow-green vaginal discharge with a strong odor along with vaginal itching and irritation.
Most men have no symptoms yet are still contagious.

Treatment:
|
Treatable with single dose of medication
All sexual partners need to be treated
|
